Each project we design is unique. We start by visiting the community where the Ethanol Micro Distillery (EMD) will be installed. We analyze the site and the surrounding environment, collecting data and planning the project. We also get in contact with the most adequate partners that will help us to finance and implement our projects.

MANUFACTURE

With our high-quality process standards and specialized technical staff, we build the distillation columns and assemble peripheral equipment to materialize the Ethanol Micro-Distillery (EMD).  Our manufacturing site is located in the city of São Vicente do Sul, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil.

TRANSFER

A core concern of Green is the development of local expertise. Implementing our projects goes well beyond merely installing the machinery. During the whole process of implementation, our team trains local personnel on how to better operate the Ethanol Micro-Distillery (EMD), building local capacity and increasing the autonomy of our customers.

SUPPORT

We keep a close relationship with our customers at all steps of the process, including after the implementation of the EMD. Our customers can trust that we are always ready to help them finding a solution in case it is necessary. We provide support via skype, e-mail, telephone, throughout a network of local suppliers and carrying in-situ assistance if needed. TECHNOLOGY

Efficient and sustainable technology is the cornerstone of Green’s work. We develop and built our own unique distillation columns. We also employ a range of other state-of-the-art technological components. We fit together all these advanced technologies in order to create a new method for generating bioenergy.

NETWORK

Team work is a core principle leading Green’s actions. We know what is needed to design and implement a project and we know who has it. Thus we work very hard in order to build a strong and solid network of partners, connecting financial partners, local business managers and high-tech companies in order to implement our projects.OUR PARTNERS

APPLICATION

During the implementation phase we work for approximately one month within the area where micro-distillery will be located, training and building capacity alongside our local partners Luckster-Casino.com. When we are done with the installation and is time to go back home, we make sure that those who stay will be able to operate our facilities and produce bioethanol.

IMPACT

Our facilities will produce a constant flow of sustainable bioethanol, which can be used for many purposes. Green’s spill-over effect increases economic interactions and strengthens local markets. Our positive impact is noticed in the daily lives of thousands of women and men who get to access modern services such within a less polluted environment.

NIGERIA

OGBOMOSHO AND KOGI

Nigeria still faces serious problems derived from household indoor pollution generated by rudimentary cooking techniques. Despite its enormous natural richness, up to 95% of Nigeria’s population still lack access to electricity and rely on polluting fuels, such as imported diesel or health-damaging biomass. Green Social Biotehanol can contribute for changing this reality.

URUGUAY

ARTIGAS

Uruguay is very concerned in increasing its energy security by making its energy mix more diverse. Green is proud of having played an important role in this process, installing the first ethanol micro-distillery of Uruguay, in the city of Artigas.  The EMD will produce more than to 300,000 liters of bioethanol per year bringing local development for the region and its people.VIEW PROJECTS

GUYANA

BERBICE

In Guyana, oil imports have historically burdened the country and hampered its economy. In order to initiate a process of self-sufficiency, the government sought an energy solution through Green’s Social Bioethanol. This sustainable fuel can be mixed with gasoline in order to reduce expenditure on fuel imports and promoting local development.VIEW PROJECTS

Eduardo is the founder and CEO of Green Social. He is the one responsible for carrying on negotiations, envisioning new social business opportunities and developing environmental friendly technological solutions. As an Engineer himself he has a lifelong experience in rural development and is also an invited member of Ashoka, a global network for social entrepreneurs.

Project Engineer

Bruno is graduated in Civil Engineering and an expert in designing the technical aspects of our projects. He is specialized in energy efficiency and machinery modelling. He leads the manufacturing team and coordinates the installation and commissioning of Ethanol Micro Distilleries (EMDs) around the world.

PROJECT MANAGER

Gaston is graduated in International Relations and specialized in International Development. He has more than five years of work experience in the sector of international business and financing, being the one responsible for bringing together our network of partners and financial institutions for implementing Green projects.

Daniel, Rodrigo, Adésio, João e Clesio, are the ones responsible for operating the manufacturing site and building our distillation columns, the core machine in Green’s projects.

Luciana started at Green as an intern, contributing with the company's public relations and also prospecting new opportunities in the field of sustainable energy. She graduated in International Relations and is specialized in sustainable development and energy/environmental security.

Farofa is Green's most faithful partner and friend. She has been working next to us since the company's very beginning. Farofa holds a master in "Dealing with Humans Daily" and is specialized in sleeping, snoring and chasing tennis balls.
